The tears have all dried up. The phone calls begging you to take him back have long stopped. You’re happy with the quiet (but lonely) Saturday nights now. Hanging out with re-runs of The Brady Bunch. Then the unthinkable happens. You hear that he’s got a new flavour of the month. Last seen, hanging onto his arm like a creeper to a garden post. Don’t get mad, get even. Make sure the next time he sees you. He’ll regret ever leaving you and beg you to take him back. Just put a few of these tried and true Feng Shui Tips for Love into place.

mandarin_ducks3_small1. Mandarin Ducks are a powerful jumpstart to any love life with a dead battery. Just place a pair of Mandarin Ducks in the Southwest corner. (The Southwest corner is said to be the sector of your home governing relationships. ) Wooden Mandarin Ducks are traditional. Ducks made of semi precious stones work just as well.

pakua_coin_t2. Calculate your Kua Number. Using your personal Kua number, note your Nien Yin(Heavenly Matchmaker) direction. Now if possible, use this sector of your home as often as you can. A bedroom in this are would be the perfect cure to your lonely Saturday nights Also sleeping with your head facing this direction will attract an excellent mate.

rose-quartz3. Semi precious stones such as Rose Quartz crystals are said to ‘energize’ your love life. Place a few of them in the Southwest corner of your home. Energizing your romance sector in this manner is another Feng Shui trick.

double-happiness4. The ultimate insignia of conjugal bliss. The Double Happiness symbol. Wear it where possible. Or use a Double Happiness Ship that is said to bring that special someone sailing into your harbour of love.

phoenix5. The symbol of a Phoenix is an excellent item for those looking for their perfect Dragon mate. As any Feng Shui exponent will tell you, the Phoenix and Dragon are considered the ideal mates. Feature a Phoenix in your hall or the Southwest corner of your home. A word of caution though, remember to find her a Dragon mate as soon as you’ve found your man.

peony26. There’s no better way to say “I Love You” than a bouquet of Peony Flowers. In China during Spring anyway. This flower, the eternal symbol of love is a potent Feng Shui enhancer. As these flowers can be difficult to grow, get a picture of Peony Flowers in full bloom instead. Hand it on the Southwest wall of your home. And look around. For that romantically perfect mate might just be running up to hand you a real bouquet sometime soon.

poison_arrows7. If you feel uncomfortable or uneasy while you’re sleeping, look around for Poison Arrows. Sharp edges of the dressing table pointed menacingly at you? Perhaps an overhanging beam poised over your bed? All these features and others with sharp edges all contribute to a disturbed sleep. Eventually resulting in a gloomy and difficult relationships. Although there is a certain subjectivity related to it, just look around your room. If there is anything you find looks particularly threatening. It most probably is a poison arrow.

water8. Chi is carried by the wind and gathers at Water according to a line from the I-Ching. Water is a very powerful Feng Shui element, use it incorrectly and you may very well be playing the Dating Game for a long time. Water should always be placed on the left hand side(inside looking out) of your home. Anywhere else and it could lead to infidelity.

9. Most importantly. And here comes the biggie. Get out there! Simple. You will never find that perfect guy just cooped up in the safety of your home. No matter how much Feng Shui you use, I have never heard of a guy dropping in from the sky (Well maybe once but that was a skydiving accident).
